A desire to highlight the humanity of those brutally killed by police, racist, or transphobic individuals, led this project. Using neon chalk, I create 4x5 ft portraits of 20 people who were ripped from this world. I drew them on my street, which had a lot of foot traffic, in order to prevent my community from ignoring
